Living Arrows 10/52

"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth"

Amelia's photo this week is of her sleeping in my bed. This week she has ended up in my bed most nights as she has been poorly. As much as I prefer to have my own space now that I'm used to not having them here a few nights a week I do still secretly like it when she climbs into bed in the middle of the night for cuddles. So whilst she's still young I let her. Amelia's always been one for co-sleeping, but Harry on the other hand never has as he just won't go back to sleep!

Harry's photo was taken earlier in the week when he should have been sleeping but he woke up around midnight and was wide awake. He'll often wake up and shout for me then when I go through he'll just be lying there with this huge smirk on his face. Of course he wouldn't go back to sleep so he came through into my bed for a little while and we lay watching TV for a little while before putting him back in his bed. I do love our little random one on one late night moments as he's often in a really funny mood and is so talkative and will sing random songs and be silly.

  1. Both mine end up in our bed too. I am trying to talk Matthew out of it. He has been sleeping in his own bed the last two nights. He is getting a sticker and sweets when he does. Only like 3 or 4 jelly beans. But when he has 10 collected, he is allowed to get a new Transformer.

  2. It's funny how different they can be isn't it! My son never slept in our bed, he's always been a real wriggler and also settled fine in his own bed, but our daughter slept in our bed loads for the first 2 years of her life! x #LivingArrows

  3. Harry looks the absolute cheekiest there - so grown up too. Troy can be a terror in the middle of the night too - shouting out, wanting the most random of things and have a million toilet trips too. I hope Amelia is feeling better now x
