Living Arrows 8/52

"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth"

This weeks photos were taken at home, we've had a lazy week with little plans so these photos were taken when the kids came back from their dads on Thursday. Amelia is really getting into her reading now and amazes me everyday when she comes out with a word she's spelt. She loves getting her reading books each week at school and was given two this week because of the holidays this week. We read one every night before bed.

Harry had a much needed hair cut this week. It had got so long so quickly and he had been over due one for a while but I kept putting it off. I do like his hair when its long and swept to the side but it had got to the point where it was getting in his eyes and he was always getting food in it. He looks much more grown up with it cut shorter.

  1. His hair looks lovely. I still have to cut my 4 year olds hair and even that is a nightmare but nobody else is allowed to go near him.
I can't wait until Matthew learns how to read soon. :)
Where did you get Amelia's bed?

  2. Its lovely when they start to take interest in reading. She looks like she's really concentrating on her book.

  3. Love reading to my kids. Books at bedtime are my most relaxing time of the day where we choose a couple of books to go through and then the boys fall asleep.

  4. Lovely when they're excited about books and reading. I love it when they've just had a hair cut, although I've found that I also like N's hair a bit longer at the moment, but he isn't keen and prefers it short. #livingarrows

  5. Troy is the opposite when he has a hair cut - he looks so little again! It must be so nice when they come home again and it's so lovely that Amelia loves reading so much x
