Living Arrows 3/52

"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth"

Amelia has really been pushing her boundaries this week. She can be the most sweetest affectionate girl most of the time but my god she has a temper and attitude which could give me a run for my money! I'm guessing she gets it from me but she's really been pushing my buttons the past few days not listening, making Harry cry by snatching toys off him or pushing him off her when he tries to sit on her, crying like a baby because she wants a kinder egg when I've said no...generally not listening to anything I say! They say wait until they're two or three and the tantrums are the worst, but just wait until they're 4 and they're much much worse! I thought she would have grown out of it but clearly not.

Harry is two today! I just can't believe it, the past two years have literally flown by! This week Harry is back to his normal self and all of his chicken pox are heeled up and nearly gone. He's been really funny the past two days and all of a sudden has started laughing hysterically at everything he finds amusing, it's not like any of his usual laughs and at first I actually though he was crying. It seems that he does it to get attention, and then gives me the biggest cheesiest grin when I turn around to look at him.

  1. Happy birthday, Harry. Hope you guys have a fab day celebrating. I love Amelia's jumper. I almost picked it up for Amy the other day but I don't think the colours work that well for her x #livingarrows

  2. I'd like to say that girls get easier as they get older, however, I'd be wrong. I clash with my oldest Dawson much but then our personalities are the same so we wind each other up.

  6. First of all... HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY. xx
Second... I am glad I am not the only one that has a child with a temper on him. 4 1/2 years of age and he will not listening. He laughs when I talk to him. It's pointless.

  7. Happy Birthday Harry! Hope he had a lovely day.

I hope Amelia starts behaving for you soon lovely. I can tell you know, their attitude gets worse! :( Mia went off on one today after gymnastics. So cheeky and hard to handle when she gets into her tempers.

  8. Happy birthday Harry. AMelia looks like butter wouldn't melt on that photo. We had no issues age 2 and only 1 month of lots of no's at age 3. But N's approaching 6 and oh, the stroppiness is unbelievable. He told me the other day that he wished I was dead. All because I'd asked him yet again to tidy up his mess. #livingarrows

  9. Troy had a laugh just like that - so funny! Love that he gives you a cheeky grin afterwards. I still can't believe he's two. LOVE their slogan tops. I know all about attitude. Athena is queen of it. We have had stamping feet and jumping up and down recently. I end up laughing at her x
