This past month has flown by and I can't believe that we're already half way through December with Christmas next Sunday! Amelia breaks up for the holidays tomorrow so we have a whole week of stuff planned which I'm hoping we can enjoy. I really don't want Christmas to fly by like it did last year. I want to enjoy it with the kids at a slow pace especially as it's our first proper Christmas with the three of us on our own.
This is the last siblings post of the year and it made me take a look back at previous photos throughout the year to see how much they had changed. Although I did miss out a few months here and there it's great that I now have photos of the kids and that was the aim of joining in with this project. Next year I hope to take part every single month.
This months siblings photos were taken on my iPhone. I've not had the big camera out much at all the past few weeks apart from taking photos for the blog and the kids don't seem to like sitting still long enough for me to take any nice ones.
The kids seem to have really shot up over the past month, especially Harry. He is saying so much right now, putting together three and four words at a time. His speech is amazing compared to what Amelias was at this age. In fact I think he probably speaks better now than Amelia did when she started nursery at the age of 3! But I think that's mainly because he hears Amelia speaking a lot and they talk a lot amongst themselves.
Harry loves giving Amelia cuddles and its so sweet to watch them play and sit together whilst watching TV or eating dinner. This months photos were taken on a recent walk to Newborough forest after visiting Santa. It was such a beautiful day, albeit very cold so I thought it would be a good idea to get out of the house for some fresh air. We hadn't been on a walk, all three of us for a while as we had been on holiday a few weeks before and then catching up with the housework at the weekends when we arrived back. The kids loved running around together and it was great to see them smiling and chasing each other.
Here are some more photos from of the kids together.
