As I type this it's just gone midnight as I'm sat in bed feeling exhausted, I'm not quite sure why because I've not really done much all week. We've now been back in the hustle and bustle of school runs for nearly two weeks but I don't really feel like I have a routine at such, there's still housework to do and countless jobs on my never ending to-do list. I'm not sure why, hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon. I loved having both of the kids home during the holidays but I couldn't wait for September 5th to come around to get that routine back. Amelia is signed up to some after school classes during the week and I've also got her on the waiting list for swimming classes which she is looking forward to. It's weird being a full time school mum now but I'm looking forward to it, especially now that I'm going to be working from home again starting next week I should hopefully have some sort of routine in place by the end of the month.
I didn't really get that many photos of the kids together this month apart from these on our recent trip to Berlin with Beko. It has however been great to watch their bond grow closer especially now that Amelia's at school full time, they enjoy the time they do have together much more. I can tell that Harry misses her during the day and is so excited when we go and pick her up from school. I'm loving having more one on one time with Harry now that he's older and talking a lot more but I also love having the weekends to spend together as a family of three.
This month the kids have started bickering a lot more, I'm guessing that was to come with Harrys age as they seem a lot closer in age now. It's usually instigated either by Harry playing with one of Amelia's dolls or Amelia snatching something from him. They do play really well together at the best of times but some days are worse than others.
I recently came across my siblings post for September last year and can't believe how much they've changed. I'm so glad that I decided to join back in with this project as it means I'll have lots of great photos of the kids to look back on in years to come.
