It's that time again where the kids are back to school! If you are like me, you will probably be running around frantically making sure you have all of their uniform hung up ready in the wardrobe, P.E kits labelled and lunch boxes at the ready! Amelia started reception class at school this year, she was previously at the nursery adjacent to the school so is familiar with having packed lunches already which is why she will be continuing to have them this school year, unless she asks otherwise. As she is a fussy eater, I thought it would be easier to make her lunch boxes, that way I know what she is eating and can ensure that she is getting a good varied lunch each day.
Packed lunches are a great way to create varied and well-balanced lunches for your little ones, which is why I am working with Flora to create a 5 day back to school lunchbox plan to help give you some ideas and inspire your children's lunchboxes. Flora understands that constantly having to come up with new lunchbox recipes week-in week-out can be a pain, so ahead of the new school term Flora have launched an initiative to help mums create varied and well-balanced lunchboxes for your children by providing access to a simple, convenient lunchbox guide which you can view here. Flora are also running an in-store promotion across a variety of retailers where you will be given, along with the lunchbox guide, a fun children's lunch box if you buy two tubs of Flora. This guide includes lots of great lunch box tips and ideas to get you started!
You can view my five day lunchbox plan over on the Flora website here. Hopefully you can get some ideas for creating your own kids lunch boxes.
What are your top tips for creating children's lunches? I'd love to hear!
