So I'm a little late linking up and cheating slightly as these pictures were taken on July 1st but I couldn't not use them and didn't not want to share them. I haven't really used my big camera at all this year and realised I hadn't taken part in the Siblings linky since March, which is such a shame as I have missed a few months of siblings photos and also missed a few months last year. I really want to get back into taking part in more linkys and documenting more family life on this blog as I feel that I've stepped away from that over the years. I know as the kids get older they'll no longer want to be in photos or on this little blog of mine so I may as well make the most of it whilst I can!
The weather here in North Wales has been pretty awful lately, so much for summer huh! I'm hoping we get at least a few weeks of nice weather during the summer holidays to get out and about and enjoy the sunshine before Amelia starts school full time in September. We have two weeks until the summer holidays and I can't wait!
The kids are growing closer and closer as the months go on, I feel as if the gap between them is getting noticeably smaller. Amelia doesn't look so big next to him and Harry doesn't look so small anymore. I love watching them together, Amelia is always so cautious of him and making sure he's okay. Harry loves following Amelia around calling her name. They play really well together, although Harry doesn't like it when Amelia snatches a toy off him but that's just the age he's at.
It's great that they'll both sit down the sofa or cuddle up in bed together and watch something on the iPad or TV. When Amelia was younger she would never sit still, she's still always on the go but its much better and will sit still for longer. Harry is the type who loves to cuddle up and watch TV.
Here are some more photos that I managed to snap whilst they were watching "Raa Raa" (Harry's favourite programme) this morning.
I really need to make more of an effort to capture those special moments and will definitely be getting my big camera out more often.
