A House Full Of Colds {The Ordinary Moments}

This weekend has been a rather quiet one in our house, we've all come down with flu like symptoms, full of colds and the sickness bug. There's nothing worse than seeing your little ones ill than being ill yourself and unable to do anything to take it away. We've not left the house since Thursday and none of the housework has been done which means I have piles of ironing to do this evening ready for school tomorrow. But it's been nice to spend time at home and not have to worry about being anywhere at a certain time.

It's so strange to see Amelia sat down of the sofa for longer than 5 minutes or tucked up in bed, she was watching something on the iPad yesterday whilst I was doing some work in the bedroom, 10 minutes later she was flat out and slept for three hours. Which is so unlike her, definitely an ordinary moment. Don't get me wrong it's nice that the house has stayed relatively tidy as she's not been up and about destroying it but its equally strange to see her feeling so helpless and poorly.

We are feeling slightly better today so hopefully we'll all be on the mend tomorrow as I desperately need to do some housework and have a few errands to run, plus Amelia really wants to go to school.

  1. Oh her curls are far from ordinary - so scrumptious. I know what you mean about how tidy the place stays when they're ill but it's so hard to watch them be poorly isn't it. Beautiful pics as ever and I hope she is well enough for school. Lots of love, Liska x

  5. Lovely photos Kerry. Well done on moving away from Dr. Pepper. Lol I have been reading about your obsession with it. Harry is such a cute boy and he seems so strong and advanced at his age
