10 Ways To Make Yourself Look Younger

Do you often worry that you are ageing too fast? There are numerous surgical options to help reduce the physical appearance of again, but there are also many ways that you can help yourself looking younger. If you'd rather stay clear from surgery, here are 10 proven ways to look younger:

1. Use a face scrub

You'll want to find a face scrub which has beads as this will help restore a pinkish colour in your skin and give you a healthy glow. There are many face scrubs on the market. But I would suggest making your own like this homemade anti wrinkle facial scrub. Not only is it a lot cheaper making your own but they will also be free from chemicals which are harmful to your skin.

2. Whiten your teeth

Teeth can get yellow as you age, so get them back to that white youthful appearance again by whitening them. There are various ways to whiten your teeth for example professionally or with at home kits which are less expensive. You could even use a brightening pen twice a day for 10 minutes which will lighten your teeth by as much as four shades a week.

3. Get a youthful hair cut

By changing your hairstyle and going for a youthful look and feel you can shed years off instantly! If you want to achieve a younger look think medium, short and fair. If your natural hair colour is dark then go lighter. Opting for a different style like adding a side parting or fringe can make you look years younger.

4. Add highlights

If your natural hair colour is dark try adding copper or blonde highlights and see how many years it can take off! Adding lighter shades of colour to your hair will brighten your complexion and give you a younger appearance.

5. Use a face primer with silicone

If you don't already use a face primer then buy one! A primer that includes the silicone ingredient will help fill in any fine lines for a smoother, younger look.

6. Moisturise your skin

One of the most common ways to reduce ageing is to moisturise your skin and invest in a good moisturiser. Skin that is properly hydrated is plumper and looks smooth and soft.

7. Get botox

Botox is a safe way to reduce skin creases or facial lines without needing to go under the knife. Facial lines on the forehead, around the eyes, upper lip and neck respond well to anti wrinkle injections. Procedures are usually painless with some slight discomfort and the injections work within a few days lasting for 3-6 months.

8. Drink lots of water

One of the benefits of drinking lots of water is softer skin. Loss of hydration in the skin shows in all sots of ways such as dryness, flakiness and tightness. Dry skin has a lot less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling so water is essential to maintain skin moisture. You should be drinking at least 2 litres of water a day to see any benefits.

9. Use a clarifying shampoo

Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo such as Pantene. As you age, your hair appears duller so bring it back to life with a clarifying shampoo which will remove any dulling build up and add shine.

10. Get enough sleep

And last but not least, make sure that you are getting enough sleep each night. Lack of sleep can double the signs of ageing including fine lines. Getting enough sleep perks up your facial skin and reduces any unwanted dark circles.

Of course ageing is inevitable but if you're wanting to keep looking younger for longer then these tips will help.
