Well I've now completed a whole week of eating healthy, no junk food (chocolate, crisps, takeaways or Macdonalds) and I'm really impressed at how I've coped! I haven't even craved any of the items like I would usually do but I guess that's because I'm even more determined this time round! I thought I'd share some of my meals throughout the week incase some of you are looking for ideas or perhaps to motivate you to do the same!
I've never been a breakfast person and would always go without eating anything substantial until lunch time resulting in me snacking late morning on junk food! However by eating breakfast every day this week I've found that I've had so much more energy and I haven't needed to snack on anything at all until lunch time! Here's what I've been having for breakfast this week...
Strawberry low fat yoghurt with strawberries, blueberries & raspberries.
Avocado & boiled egg on brown toast
Smoked Salmon & Philadelphia Cheese Bagel
Scrambled Egg & Smoked Salmon on Sourdough Toast
Boiled Egg on Sourdough Toast
2 ingredient banana pancakes (2 eggs & 1 whole banana)Lunch
Prior to this past week lunch time for myself usually consisted of Macdonalds around 3 times a week or a panini from costa. I rarely ever ate lunch at home and if I did it would be a brie and bacon panini. I've cut Macdonalds completely out of my diet and haven't had one since last Saturday. I've been eating lighter lunches or swapped the panini bread for seeded instead.

This is where I needed to be healthier in my meal choices as I would usually indulge in takeaways 2-3 times a week, and then pizza and chips or roast dinners the rest of the week. Not exactly the healthiest and that's where I think I started piling on the pounds! I've cut takeaways completely out of my diet and trying to eat more vegetables too.
