WHAT'S IN MY BRITMUMS LIVE BAG

As some of you may be aware I am off to Britmums Live tomorrow and I thought it would helpful to share what I have packed in my bag for the event, kind of like a what's in my changing bag but not. This will be my third time attending this yearly blogging event and I remember thinking after booking the tickets on the first year what on earth do I need to take with me? So I thought this post would be helpful for those of you who are unsure on what you may need to pack or for those are just nosey like me!

As I'm taking a small suitcase I want to take a large changing bag so I think I'll be using my OiOi changing bag as I am bringing Harry along with me and think it will be easier to pack more in the changing bag for the train etc. I won't share what I'm packing for him as that's just standard changing bag essentials so here's what's in my bag for the event.

DSLR Camera and lens - I may leave the extra lens at home I'm not sure yet but I'll definitely be taking my camera with me, a blogger can't miss out on a good photo opportunity! I did half debate whether or not to leave the camera at home too as I thought it would be added weight but I really wanted to take it for better quality photos than my phone.

Spare SD card - Just incase my other one decides to stop working/snap in half (yes it has happened before!) at least then I'll still be able to snap away.

Business cards to hand out, although I found both years I only handed out a handful so I've decided to take less with me this year. You probably won't need that many (100 max) so don't waste your money.

Charger - With all that Tweeting and Instagraming going on I'll need to charge my phone at some point. P.S There is a handy power station at the back of the main hall to charge all your devices.

Power bank charger - I decided to buy this handy little gadget if I'm not able to charge my phone elsewhere as a back up which will come in handy especially when on the train. You can get one from Amazon.

iPad and earphones for train journey and to catch up on Youtube videos before bed! I'm looking forward to some me time whilst Harry is asleep on the train journey and hopefully can draft up some blog posts on the iPad.

Selfie stick - All bloggers have these right? Nope just me then ha! Thought it would come in handy for group photos or when out and about.

Notebook and pen - Although there are plenty there it's always nice to take your own too. I do love the Brewery notebooks and pens, mind you I didn't actually do much writing last year but it's always handy to have some just incase.

Phone - Can't go to a blogging event with my phone! After all I need to tweet everyone to plan and meet up of course and Instagram throughout day.

Other than my purse, sunglasses, train tickets and a few bits of make up for touching up throughout the day that's pretty much everything that I'll be packing in my bag. I'm trying to travel as light as possible seeing as I'll have to share half of the bag full of Harry's things. I remember over packing last year and thinking "why on earth did I bring this". So this year I've been strict with myself and I'm only bringing the items I actually need or know I'll use.

What are you bringing to Britmums with you? Do let me know if you're going I'd love to meet you.
