MY DAILY BLOGGING TASKS & FREE CHECKLIST

I've now been blogging for just over three years and over the last year or so I've worked really hard to be more organised. There is so much more to blogging than just writing a blog post and taking photographs as some may think. For the first 18 months I tried to keep on top of my blog tasks by making checklists on my phone which were fine at the time but I prefer having something on paper to tick off as I go along but I hate writing them down as my handwriting is so messy so I created a checklist for my daily blogging tasks.

After the first few weeks of using my checklist I noticed some drastic changes in my blog as well as social media accounts which have grown over time. I now feel much more connected within the blogging community and have noticed an increase in traffic and followers on all platforms.

Today I thought I would share my daily blogging tasks with you for those of you who are interested in seeing what a lot of bloggers do on a daily basis or if you're looking to take your blog to the next level. Below is a printable checklist I made last year which I use daily to ensure I complete everything or the majority of it, feel free to use it to make things that little bit easier.

You may be thinking "Woaah that's a lot" but it's really not and most of the tasks can be done before you even get out of bed in the morning or whilst the kids eat breakfast. I use my phone for a lot of the tasks as they can be done throughout the day. Also don't worry if you don't have time to do all of the tasks every day - I most definitely don't. But if you do the majority of them then you'll be right on track to being more connected with your readers and will grow your blog traffic.

You can view and print the Daily Checklist here

I have mine printed out and laminated so I can use a dry marker and then wipe it clean the next day which saves printing sheets for every day use.

Leave me a comment below if you too use a daily checklist or if you're thinking of using one. I'd love to know.

I was wondering, did you have a full-time job while as a blogger? If so, how did you balance your job and finding time to be a blogger?
