Whilst I was pregnant with Harrison I often day-dreamed of the days where he would be here, what would our life be like, how would I bath him and when to fit around Amelia's routine. I needn't have worried because once he had arrived he slotted right in! Same with bath time. In the early days I would bath Harrison in the Shnuggle baby bath which I decided to buy last minute. However more recently I've been bathing both of the kids together with Harrison on a this bath support in the bath tub. It's working well so far and I'm glad that Amelia doesn't mind sharing her bath time with him.
One thing I had been struggling to find to cross off the checklist of things to buy before he was born were baby towels. I couldn't find any that I liked and ended up buying a couple of plain blue ones from Asda which do the job but aren't particularly soft.
We were very kindly sent an Aden + Anais hooded towel set to review. I've always been a huge fan of Aden + Anais and we own about 8 of their muslins which double up as swaddle blankets, car seat canopies and many other great uses. I assumed Aden + Anais only sold swaddle blankets but in fact they have a lovely range of bedding, sleeping bags and towels too!
The towel set we were sent is the grey 'twinkle' star design which as many of you know is perfect for us as I'm obsessed with anything stars for Harrison. I have star baby vests, sleep suits. socks, bibs, blankets and bedding for him but one thing I was missing was a towel!
I love that the towel is unisex and is pretty big so should last a while. One thing I have noticed is that the towel has got softer over time after being washed just like the swaddle blankets do. The set also includes a 100% cotton muslin washcloth which is gentle on the skin. This set would make a lovely gift for any new mum and baby, and I recently bought one for a friend of mine who is due to have a baby in the next few weeks.
The towel set retails at £29.95 which may be a little pricey to some for a towel however you're paying for quality here. I wouldn't mind paying this for an item which is going to get so much use out of. The towel set is available to buy here in grey or pink and you can also find more towels here.
