WHAT WE'RE READING: VALENTINES DAY

If you're a regular reader then you will most probably know about our love of books and my slight addiction to buying themed books for different holidays throughout the year. I think I may be running out of space to keep them all when they're not displayed on the shelves but one can never have too many books - right? Once we hit February I couldn't wait to fill Amelia's bookshelves with new books that I knew she would love and I also kept a couple back as a gift for Valentine's day.

There's just something about children's' books that I love, the cute illustrations and sweet stories and valentines is no exception. We already owned many books from last year however I decided to add a few more to Amelia's collection. These are mainly books which are centred around the theme of love, family and kisses.

Below are our favourite valentines reads for children which we have been loving reading this month:

I Love My Mummy
You Are My Cupcake
Where Is Baby's Valentine
The Day It Rained Hearts

I Love My Dad
Peter Rabbit: I Love You
Olive, My Love
I Love My Mom

Some other love themed books which we own that aren't shown here:

Guess How Much I Love You
The Perfect Hug
Snowy Valentine
The Biggest Kiss
Mama Loves You

  2. I'm obsessed with buying books for Osian too! I bought him Christmas and Valentine's themed books, I went a little over the top with the Christmas ones though. I got him a few of the ones you have there, his favourite his 'Where is Baby's Valentine?' we have to read it at least four times before bed! xx
