So it's been a month since I gave birth to Harrison and I think it's about time that I revamped my wardrobe post baby. As much as I'd love to lounge around in yoga pants and baggy tops every day as I'm usually covered in baby sick most of the time I find that actually getting dressed each day and doing my hair or make up puts me in a better mood.
Although I didn't buy any maternity clothing through out my pregnancy and still have all of my pre-pregnancy clothing which have fitted me the whole time I feel that most of it is out dated or falling apart. I also needed a few new going out outfits even though I don't often get the chance to go out, especially not now with a toddler and newborn however we do have a few events planned over the next few months. However I didn't want to spend a fortune on these especially if they're not going to be worn that often so I managed to find a few discounts online for ASOS and a few others of my favourite shops. I had saved all of my christmas gift cards to go on a shopping spree after Harrison was born so I've been hitting the shops online and purchasing a few new pieces to start transforming my wardrobe.
I like to have a few basic wardrobe staples which I tend to buy from New Look such as black, grey, navy and white vests, cardigans and t-shirts just for basic every day wearing but I would like some other tops to wear. I have also invested in a new pair of jeans seeing as my favourite pair had a rip in the knee although I will wear them around the house for lazy days. I love Next for jeggings and jeans as I find the quality really good and they are the best fit for me. Comfy shoes are must for me too, and with summer coming up I've been wanting to replace my toms so bought a new pair of these and a couple of canvas shoes as they are so easy to slip on.
Have you recently had a baby and updated your wardrobe? Where do you like to shop for comfy mum clothing?
