This week will be our last full week as a family of three before things get slightly hectic when baby boy decides to finally make an appearance. It's strange how the last few weeks of this pregnancy have been completely different to when I was overdue with Amelia. The days seemed the drag and I was going out of my mind with boredom and OCD ensuring that everywhere was spotless for her arrival. This time round I'm completely relaxed and as much as I can not wait to meet him and hold him in my arms, I'm actually enjoying these moments as I know it won't be forever.
I've been trying to have as much one on one time with Amelia, although the weather hasn't been too great so we've been staying in most days and just enjoying these last few days together, playing, reading and watching films. She's been far more affectionate this week and has also been snuggling up next to me on the sofa which is so unlike her. I'm not complaining though because it's these little moments in life that you appreciate the most.
Hopefully by next weeks post we will be a family of four!
