Welcome to the overdue club! So here I am at 7 days overdue, and I'm feeling pretty relaxed about the whole situation. I was induced at 42 weeks with my first baby so I know he will arrive when he's good and ready so I'm just trying to soak up as much of the free time I have at the moment as possible...although easier said with a toddler needing my attention all day long unlike the last pregnancy where I could just lie around all day feeling sorry for myself.

Of course your due date is just an estimate, many women deliver early... only 5% deliver on their due date however the majority will go over. Babies come when they are ready! If you're in the same boat as me, here is a list of 50 things you can do while you are anxiously awaiting your little one's arrival.

  1. this is a great list my friend, I have had a feeling all day he is coming tonight, maybe he will

  2. Wish I had seen this 9 months ago! I only went 5 days past my estimated due date but all I could do was stress about the fact she wasn't here yet!

  3. Love the list. My 3 and 4 year olds just think it should say 'play' and 'get up early.'

  4. Oh thanks for this list. Will definitely work on it once I'm starting maternity leave next week.

  5. What a great list! My daughter was in the 5% who came on her due date - the date we'd been saying for months was the one day she definitely WOULDN'T arrive!
Good luck with everything - hope the birth is exactly as you want it to be :-)

  6. Such a great list, I hope you manage to cross a few off before you have little man

  7. What great list , so many ladies kick their heels at this time x

  8. Great list! I never experienced being overdue - my first was one of the rare 5% born on his due date and the other two were forcibly evicted around a week early.

  9. Love this list! My first two were born at 42 weeks and I loved the end of those pregnancies because I loved having a bump! I really thought this last pregnancy would go over too and if there had been no issues I think Elsie would've been a good month later than she was. Enjoy these last days x x

  10. Great options :)

My fave was to lay on my bag and watch her move :)
