RECENT BABY BUYS

It's been a while since I shared a baby buys post and I've bought a fair bit more since then so I thought it was only right that I showed you what I've bought for the little man. With just 5 weeks to go I think we are ready for his arrival, I was beginning to doubt whether we had enough clothes and bedding as I seem to remember having more with Amelia. I bought a few more long sleeved sleep suits and all in ones as he's going to be born in the winter he will be needing them more than anything. I also bought a few more newborn cardigans and outfits as I hadn't bought any previously and of course he won't be wearing Amelia's newborn clothes.

The first item I bought is this wooden rainbow stacking toy, I have had it on my wish list for some time but never got round to buying it. For now it will sit on his shelf in the nursery but I'm looking forward to adding it to his toy box when he's older to play with.

I bought some Milestone Baby Cards after seeing them around on Instagram for some time now, I thought it would be nice to use when taking photos as there wasn't anything around like this at the time Amelia was born so I used monthly stickers on the baby grow instead.

This Maileg Badger Man soft toy was another splurge purchase as it has been on my wish list for some time. I love the Maileg collection and Amelia has a few of their rabbits which I find more feminine with the floral patterns. I was pleased to see that they have a great collection of farmland and other animals too so I'm sure I will be building up his collection over the years.

I bought 5 Dribble bibs from Baby Got Bibs on Etsy as I've been looking for some nice ones for a while now hadn't found anything. Also most of the ones on Etsy ship from the US costing a lot more, luckily I found a UK seller so ordered a handful of them to save on delivery charges. I love all of the designs from this shop especially the Christmas collection.

We still have Amelia's baby bath in the attic somewhere but I have had my eyes on the Shnuggle Bath for some time now after I came across it last year. This bath tub is made from foam and is extremely lightweight. It's insulated to keep the water warmer for longer and also comes with a bum bump to help keep baby upright. The bath is suitable from birth until around 6 months. I'm looking forward to using it with baby boy. I had originally wanted the natural cream colour however it seems to be out of stock everywhere.

I added the Boon Grass Drying Rack to my Amazon basket after it had been in my wish list for some time. I wanted somewhere that I could stack all of the baby utensils and bottles (if we end up using bottles) as I remember last time it became a nuisance having everything scattered all across the countertop. Even if we don't bottle feed this will still get used for dummies and other bits and pieces.

I had been looking for a comforter for a while and recently came across this Rabbit comforter from JoJo Maman Bebe which I thought was really cute. We never used a comforter with Amelia but I'm hoping that I can give him this to get used to sleeping on his own.

I know he won't need a dressing gown for some time yet but this one caught my eye and I had been looking for something similar for a while now so decided to buy it whilst I had the chance. It's from F&F and is so soft and snuggly! I bought it in the size 6 months so it will last him a while.
