We had a wonderful Christmas this year, our last as a family of three! It was probably the best Christmas to date, with Amelia being older and able to understand more it was just so magical! It's true what they say, Christmas is so much better when you have kids to enjoy it with.
I woke up at 6am and Amelia and Andy finally woke up at 8am, I am such a kids when it comes to Christmas and just wanted to go downstairs! We spent Christmas day at home and my family popped over in the morning to see Amelia. It was quite a relaxing day, exchanging gifts in the morning then I prepared Christmas dinner for the three of us. Amelia really got the hang of opening the presents and even wanted to open all of ours too haha! To see the excitement on her face as she was opening them made me feel really happy. Amelia loved playing with all of her new toys and kept us all entertained. I didn't really take that many photo's as I was just enjoying the day.
On Boxing Day we went over to Andy's parents for a big family meal which was really nice, Christmas dinner always tastes much better when you don't cook it yourself I think. Amelia's cousins were also there and it was great to see them all play together so well. We were there pretty much all day and Amelia behaved for once.
Overall we've had a lovely Christmas and it was great to spend the three days together as a family. Now we're back to normality as Andy is back at work and I'm frantically trying to get the house back in order before baby boy decides to arrive. I'm really tempted to take the tree down already too!
I really missed not being able to have a few too many glasses of bailey's this year but I have definitely eaten plenty and I don't care as I will be able to loose the weight once baby boy is born.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas with your families! Here are some photo's over the last couple of days.
