With Christmas just two weeks away we have been doing all things Christmasy with thanks to #PayPalMoments. I've been able to do all of my Christmas shopping online via Paypal which means I can enjoy the rest of Christmas and make some magical moments with my family. This will be Amelia's third Christmas and as she is older it will be the most magical, she is now at an age where she is understanding a lot more and her personality has changed. We've never really gone out to do things over the festive period in the past so this year I want to do as much as possible and especially as I am now on maternity leave and all of my Christmas shopping is complete thanks to Paypal we can enjoy some quality time before baby boy arrives next month.
Last week we took Amelia to see some real reindeer at a local garden centre which was lovely to see her excited about. To begin with she was more interested in the Christmas ornaments scattered around than the reindeer but we did manage to get her to look at them for a while before we left.
We've also been lucky enough to see the Coca Cola truck which came to our local town this year. Of course it's no where near as magical as what you expect from the TV advert but all the same it was lovely to be able to go and see it and spend some time together as a family in the run up to Christmas.
This week we finally put our Christmas tree up, I've been wanting to do it since the first day of December however Andy doesn't believe in putting it up before his birthday which is the 8th so we waiting until then. Amelia helped us this year, which was nice as she actually wanted to get involved unlike last year.
We've also been able to get out and enjoy the fresh air by going on numerous amounts of walks. It may not feel Christmassy yet but it's still nice to be able to get outside and spend time together as a family and not worry about having to do the Christmas shopping.
We have many more things planned over the next couple of weeks, next on our list is to take Amelia to Santa's Grotto and we will also be going to see Elsa at a Christmas fair a few days before Christmas. I'm also looking forward to baking some Christmas treats with Amelia and watching a ton more Christmas films this year as she is older and enjoys watching them. We've already started watching some films over the past week.
* I'd like to thank PayPal for taking the stress out of Christmas this year by giving us PayPal credit to promote the #PayPalMoments Christmas campaign.
