A MID DECEMBER WALK

As we near baby boys due date I am frantically trying to fit in as much as possible before his arrival! I have a to-do list the size of my arm which includes lots of jobs to do around the house but what I'd much rather be doing is making the most of the last couple of weeks as a mum of one and enjoy that one on one time with Amelia as things are about to become very hectic for the first few months whilst we get in some sort of routine.

This week the weather hasn't been too great, however we have been able to get out a handful of times and enjoy the fresh air. Most recently we took a drive over to a local Nature Reserve we enjoy going to, and let Amelia roam free. She loves being able to run about there and as it had been raining there were plenty of puddles for her to jump in with her new splash boots!

The SplashBoot is an innovative boot that merges functionality with fashion perfectly. Designed by Bobux and only recently launched back in October, they are a winter boot which are robust enough to survive a day of adventure and muddy puddles yet still looks the part when the adventure continues indoors. The great thing about these boots is the fact that they can be worn as an everyday boot and can be submerged in 5cm deep puddles to guarantee dry and cosy feet during the downpours.

Available in five gorgeous colours including fern, nutmeg, brick, black and the gorgeous raspberry colour which we chose. You can purchase a pair for your little one here for £60.

  1. You are so right, things change such a lot when the second child comes along. I found it really though for the first few months but I think we're reaching the light at the end of the tunnel now. All the best for the birth and have a great Christmas.x

  2. What lovely boots! And what lovely pictures of Amelia. Good luck for the arrival of baby boy. I remember what a change it was adjusting to two but so worth it but lots of hard work, making sure I gave Sophia attention, attending to the new baby regularly for feeds and nappy changes, cleaning the house, which kind of didn't happen in the first weeks, making dinner. Was lots of work after recovering from childbirth. Luckily we have a great support network and had the I laws and parents over to help a lot in the first don't know how I would of fine it otherwise to be honest. And now it's like second nature to me. Some woman are superheroes doing with, 3,4 and 5 babies! Your bump maternity pics were lovely btw what a cute near bump xx
