Hydrating from the inside is definitely one good way to make sure that our skin will stay young. Wrinkles actually form due to the lack of moisture, so drinking enough water is a good way to ensure that your skin is getting ample amount of moisture. As recommended, around 8 glasses of water is necessary in a day but when you have done something hard, it is important to increase your water intake to make up for the water loss.

Get Enough Sleep and Sleep on Your Back

When a person is sleeping the body produces HGH otherwise known as the human growth hormone. This hormone controls tissue growth all over the body and this includes the skin to. If a person doesn’t sleep enough, cortisol, a hormone responsible for slowing down growth is released. If you want to avoid wrinkles, it is important to have new skin cells, so, you have to make sure that you get sufficient amount of sleep. Another important factor that you have to keep in mind is your sleeping position. You need to have the right sleeping position so that you will not get those wrinkles which are known as sleep lines. Sleeping on your side can cause the appearance of these lines on your chin and cheek while sleeping on your face can also cause furrowed brows. The best position for sleeping is said to be on your back.

Stop Smoking and Avoid Passive Smoke

This can actually be one of the challenges that smokers have especially those who would love to preserve their youthful face. Smoking can release free radicals in the body which can in turn kill the cells of the body and damaged the membrane. This process can affect the production of the body’s collagen and this can lead to wrinkles as collagen is responsible for the skin’s elasticity. If you are smoking, try to stop and if you are not, try to avoid the company of people who are smoking.

Use Sunscreen

When you are exposed under the sun, it is important to make sure that you are protecting your skin from the sun. Applying sunscreen is one of the most important things to do. Avoiding the sun during the hottest hours is one of your choices. Wearing sunglasses is a must because squinting can cause wrinkles to form around your eyes. Be sure to use accessories such as hats, umbrella and scarves and you need to reapply sunscreen if you are out for longer periods. Sunscreen should have at least SPF 15 but ideally, look for sunscreen between SPF 25 to 30 band look for something that provides protection from UVA and UVB as it can protect the skin better.

Wrinkles are certainly one thing that can make you look older. It is important to pay attention to your lifestyle if you want to make sure that your skin stays young and fresh longer.
