HALLOWEEN 2014

Wow, how is it November already?! This year has just flown by. I hope you've all had a great Halloween! We didn't do anything in particular this year and stayed at home dressing up, baking Halloween treats and doing some Halloween themed crafts. The morning started off by giving Amelia her Halloween themed hamper which you can read more about here, she loved digging into it and loved the books and colouring book the most. I love watching her little face light up when I do these holiday themed hampers for her and can't wait to continue to do them until she grows out of them.

As I mentioned in a previous post we were sent a box full of goodies from Love Brands to create some Halloween treats! We created some Handy treats made from Jelly, some Squeamish Squares and some spiders! We were given recipes for each of these and also all of the ingredients we would need to make them. Amelia helped with the Squeamish squares (and helping herself to all of the left over chocolate) she loved making these and they went down a treat too!

The rest of the day saw us stuffing our faces with sweets and making some Halloween crafts. Amelia really enjoyed dressing up and didn't want to take her costume off! We didn't get many trick or treaters this year so we've now got plenty of sweets left over which I'm sure will be eaten fairly quickly!

Overall we had a lovely Halloween this year and it was even better now that Amelia is older and can get into it. I'm already looking forward to next year, and may even take her trick or treating!

What did you do for Halloween?
