WHAT'S ON AMELIA'S BOOKSHELF? | AUTUMN EDITION

Reading books at bedtime has become a routine for us, I know many parents like to introduce it from an early age but with Amelia not in her own bed until she was two it wasn't part of our routine. As with every season I love changing up her bookshelves and displaying some favourites for that month  and now that she is enjoying reading we can have some bonding time before bed. Of course we don't only read at bedtime, we have books scattered all over the house which she loves getting out and sitting down in her little chair to read them.

You can never have enough books in my opinion and I'm always adding new ones to our wish list. I already have more on the way for Halloween and Christmas which I can't wait to add to Amelia's collection and share with you all.

Here are some of our favourite Autumn books for babies and toddlers to read:

Duck & Goose Find A Pumpkin
The Very Helpful Hedgehog
It Was A Cold, Dark Night
Guess How Much I Love You: Autumn
Millie-Mae - In Autumn
Let it Fall
Little Hoot

Are any of these your little ones' favourites?

  1. You might like Gerda Muller's Autumn too - it doesn't have any words, just really gorgeous pictures so Amelia would be able to tell the story to you, or read it to herself without needing to remember all of the words.
