Thursdays are family day in our house and this Thursday the sun was shining so we decided to make the most of it and head out for the day. There are so many beautiful places around here it's just tough to decide on where to go. We had a spot of lunch at our favourite place to eat (Dylan's) before driving further onto the island to Penmon Point. I can't believe we've never been before, its such a beautiful secluded place. We weren't exactly dressed for the summery weather as it did feel pretty cold out in the morning so yes we look like idiots in jumpers and boots ha ha!
I didn't take my big camera with me so all of these photos are taken on my iPhone so not the best quality, but I really like them. Amelia loved throwing pebbles into the sea and running along the top. We even went off to explore some rock pools and ended up climbing up a cave to get out on the other side. It was pretty steep and slippery so probably wasn't the best idea with Amelia. Once out of the cave we found a lovely walk through the countryside where Amelia loved running about and telling us about all the dogs she had seen.
It was a lovely day out and the weather was such a bonus, as soon as we headed inland it was overcast so we were lucky to have the sun while it lasted. We haven't been going many places this summer as the weather hasn't been the greatest on the only day off we get all together so its' nice to make the most of it whilst we can.
