LOOKING AFTER YOUR SKIN DURING PREGNANCY

As I am quickly approaching the third trimester of this pregnancy and my bump is starting to grow I have been testing out a range of pregnancy skin care. It's important to look after your skin whether you're pregnant or not but even more so when it's being stretched to high heavens and god knows what else. We have recently been trying out the NSPA mum to be range and I wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

This Moisturising Bump Butter smells delicious and leaves your skin feeling smooth all over. It's meant to help prevent the appearance of stretch marks, as we all know there is nothing that we can actually do to prevent them but we can change their appearance. I was lucky with Amelia and didn't get any so I'm hoping I don't this time either but only time will tell. I have started using this and will continue to use it until I feel that I need to once baby is here. It applies really easily and doesn't leave that sticky feeling on your hands afterwards which is always a bonus.

The cooling leg and foot gel has come in very handy especially after a long day on my feet at work my feet really ache so this helps to relive them by rubbing the gel in. I tend to do this a couple of times a week before bed and it's made such a difference already. I'm sure I will get much more use out of when I'm heavily pregnancy and waddling around.

This Nourishing Stretch Mark Oil is great for applying after the bath or shower. It includes vitamin A and E and is easily to absorb into the skin to help reduce stretch marks from forming. It also boosts the elasticity of the skin, leaving it soft, supple and hydrated. I've noticed a huge difference already as my bump isn't as dry.

I'm yet to use these two products but as mums to be we need to look after that area of our body. I will have to give you an update once I've used them. I'm looking forward to using the Nipple Balm as it's always great to find great alternatives to nipple cream when breastfeeding. My bra size has never really changed during pregnancy and I've been lucky to get away wearing my usual ones last time and so far this time round too. However I can imagine if your breast do change size you may be left with a bit of excess skin afterwards when they go back down to their natural size so the Firming Breast Cream would be great to use in those circumstances.

Overall I am very impressed with this range, I love the pretty packaging and all of the products smell soooooooo good! None of the products are tested on animals which is always good to know. The scents are really uplifting and leave your morale high afterwards too. You can find out more about these products here and also purchase the NSPA range from ASDA which is reasonably priced.

Have you used the NSPA range during pregnancy?

  7. Oh they look like gorgeous products! As a breastfeeding mama the nipple cream appeals to me the most as I have been so very fortunate in that I didn't get any stretch marks! Thanks for a lovely post, popping over from #TriedTested x
