IF WE HAD A CONSERVATORY...

I always dream of having a lovely big house in the country with a big open conservatory for hosting parties, relaxing and being used as a play room during the day time for the kids. Having grown up with a conservatory pretty much all of my life at my parents I do miss being able to escape to that part of the house and relax. When we own a house of our own if it doesn't already have a conservatory we will definitely be building one with decking leading off into the garden. It's so nice being able to leave the doors wide open during the summer and the conservatory always keeps nice and warm.

Here is how I would decorate if we did have a conservatory:

I love rattan furniture as I think it makes the room feel more outdoorsy and like you're bringing the outside inside. These sofas are practical and still look comfy for relaxing in. Personally, I think rugs make the room appear more cosy, and this cream rug would be perfect to go with the decor along with a coffee table on top. I'd want to keep the decor quite neutral so for decorative accessories I would probably include beige and cream items such as this heart wicker table lamp and rattan string lights

How would you decorate your conservatory?

  5. This looks quite great, wonder how it might feel when one is inside it. Moreover, keeping more green in the conservatory is a great idea #KeepGreen.
