Another month has flown by and we recently received our Degustabox for the month of August. It's like Christmas each month when the door bell rings and we receive our box, not knowing what's inside. I have really enjoyed our experience with Degustabox and will definitely continue to purchase these each month. This months box was jam packed full of goodies, and I think it may even be my favourite box so far! You can check out previous boxes here

Here's what was included in this months box:

Caribbean Twist Strawberry Daiquiri Cocktail - I am devastated that I can't try this until January due to being pregnant but I do love Caribbean Twist so I'm sure this will be just as nice. I didn't want to let Andy try it as I really want to try it myself ha ha! For only £2.50 a bottle this would be great for a girls night in!

Cawston Press Apple & Pear Kids Blend - We have been loving the Cawston range included in various boxes over the past few months especially the can of sparkling apple juice. Amelia enjoyed this kids blend fruit juice, I managed to get a sip before she snatched it off me and it was really nice. It would be great for a kids lunch box as it's not too sweet.

Berry White Goji Berries with Peaches, White Tea and Echinacea Organic Drink - This is a fruity drink with unusual ingredients making it light and refreshing to drink. I don't usually drink anything other than Dr Pepper so it's nice to try new drinks in hope to stay away from the fizzy drinks. I was surprised and actually really enjoyed it. It has no added sugar and 10% of their profits go to charity which is always nice to know. You can buy this drink from Waitrose and Ocado.

Fever Tree Ginger Beer & Tonic Water - I'm boot actually a fan of tonic water of ginger beer but I thought I'd give them a go. I was having some nausea last week so the ginger beer went down well and helped with that. The tonic would be perfect with gin - If only I could have a glass!

Schwartz Flavour Shots Mexican Fajitas and Spanish Smoked Paprika Chicken - I have been enjoying finding new brands of packets for different meal options. These will definitely be put to good use when my food shop arrives. I like the fact that they are quick and easy to cook and can be enjoyed by all the family. Great for having in the cupboard if you're not sure on what to cook.

Brioche Pasquier Croissants & Pains Au Lait - I'm not a huge pastry lover, so the other half kindly taste tested these for me. He loved pain au chocolat and said that these were delicious! I like the fact that they are individually wrapped to keep fresh for longer. I used the rolls for Amelia's lunches as she has a sweet tooth she really enjoyed these. I'm not keen on sweet bread.

Lindt Hello Chocolate Hearts - It's safe to say that these were demolished as soon as I set eyes on them. Lindt is my favourite chocolate ever!! I buy two big bars of it with my weekly shop and I always receive big boxes of them on every special occasion. I was so excited when I saw these and couldn't wait to try them. I think the little tin is really cute and would make a lovely gift for a loved one.

Dr Oetker Edible Wafer Cupcake Cases - Another Dr Oetker product to add to our collection. These edible wafter cupcakes cases are perfect for kids parties and great for baking with the kids at the weekend. I tried one of the cases which were actually quiet tasty. I look forward to baking this week with Amelia.

Mexican Dave's Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips - I love tortilla chips as they're great for snacking on. These are lightly salted and have a slight toasted flavour which aren't too strong. Perfect for serving with guacamole which I shared a recent recipe here. The Mexican Dave's packaging is really bright and eye catching.

This month also saw Degustabox fridge which is a new scheme that Degustabox are trying out. It will include a voucher for a chiller or freezer item. This box included a voucher for a MOMA bircher muesli pot which can be redeemed in Waitrose or Sainsburys. We don't have either near by to us but if I ever come across one then I will have to pick these up.

You can sign up for your own Degustabox subscription here for just £12.99 a month. I also have a discount code for £3 off your first box when registering, just enter the code R8QTK at the checkout!
