TODDLER OUTDOOR BUCKET LIST

When I was growing up and living at home with my parents we moved from London to Wales when I was 9 years old. We were introduced to the country side and many different outdoor activities. I have grown up through both my school and early teenage years spending many weekends and summer holidays kayaking, walking, rock climbing with my dad and younger brothers.

I love living in the country side, this part of the world is beautiful and I do hope we are still living here when Amelia is older. There are many activities that I would like to do with Amelia when she is old enough and let her experience. She loves the outdoors and exploring so I'm sure she will love it!

Here are a few of the activities we have been thinking of doing whilst she is a toddler.

1. Walk up snowdon - The biggest mountain in the UK. We live just 15 minutes away and can even see the mountain from our window. I haven't walked up it since I was younger but wish we had gone up with Amelia when she was old enough to be in a carrier.

2. Go camping - This is something we have been wanting to do for a while and can't wait to take Amelia on her first camping experience.

3. Take Amelia on a canoe - My dad owns canoes and we have many large lakes nearby which would be perfect to take Amelia out on one day.

4. Go under a waterfall

5. Swim in a lake - She's swam in the sea but not in the lake

6. Have a campfire

Before we make plans to complete any of the activities I definitely need to add a few items to her wardrobe. She doesn't really have the best clothing for being outdoors especially as the majority of her wardrobe is summer clothing right now. She will need a good waterproof jacket as well as some fleeces and warm leggings as well as decent footwear. Dare 2 B have a great range of children's outdoor clothing which are perfect for ensuring you are well prepared for any activity outdoors.

Does your toddler like to be outdoors?
