BABY BUYS #3

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend! I'm back for another baby haul, this time for nursery items and electronics. You can see what we've already bought for baby boy here and here. With Christmas on the way I want to make sure we have everything we need for his arrival. I'd much rather enjoy Christmas stuffing my face with turkey dinners and chocolate than stressing over what else we have to buy.

We had the Tommee Tippee sensor monitor with Amelia which we rarely used as she never slept in her cot apart from the odd nap time here and there. I loved the sensor pad and it definitely put my mind at ease, I just wish we had got use out of it and used it from an early age. One of the handsets broke so we stopped using the monitor around 14 months and I really wanted a video monitor this time round. I really liked the look of the Motorola MBP36S video monitor and saw it on offer on Amazon at £130 and had to buy it! We've set it up to use with Amelia for the time being to try it out and I love it! The monitor is so crisp and I love the fact that you can rotate the camera and zoom in etc.

Another impulsive buy, I found the Serenity Star one day whilst browsing the Aden + Anais website and thought it would perfectly in the nursery so added it to my Amazon wish list and bought it a few weeks later. I wanted a night light with a sound machine and already have a gro egg for the temperature. This looked like just what we wanted and it's nice and simple.

I wanted to replace the boring cream lampshade in the nursery and saw this whilst browsing the Asda website. I have already bought the matching curtains so thought they would go nicely together.

I bought some cot sheets from George at Asda and these are a twin pack for £7 which is pretty good. I'm looking at buying some more sheets from Etsy but I thought these were nice plain ones.

As you may already know I have decided on a neutral theme for the nursery along with some star printed items. I came across this star bumper set on Etsy and just had to buy it! I probably won't keep it in his cot when he's sleeping in it but it will be nice to complete the bedding.

This is one of the first purchases I made for the nursery and I love it! I bought it on a whim before I had actually decided on a colour for the nursery but I think it will still go really well, maybe above his cot or near his wardrobe.

I love this cloud pillow, perfect for sitting in the cot or on the rocker.

This is a purchase I bought when I found out I was pregnant. It's lovely to write in all of my feelings each week and baby's progress.

Do you own any of the above or similar items? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
