With so many types of kids toothbrushes on the market it can be rather daunting choosing the right one for your child. Which one stands out from the crowd, will it last, will my child like using it? These are all common questions which we often ask ourselves. I was recently introduced to the Rockabilly Kids toothbrush which is a new range designed by Hamish Khayat who launched his own toothbrush range inspired by the 'Weebles'.
They come in a box with 3 extra heads which is great as it means you're getting your money worth instead of having to buy a new toothbrush every 3 months this will last you a year if you change the head every 3 months. The heads are very easy to change, even Amelia can change them. There are 6 different characters available to choose from and we chose Chef Cheryl in pink. These toothbrushes are recommended for children aged between 3 and 7 years old so even though Amelia is only two she hasn't had any trouble with it, as she has big hands for her age so is able to grip onto the handle easily.
There's no need to worry about germs as the Rockabilly toothbrush doesn't fall over, and it means you can stand it upright in the bathroom without having to put it in the toothbrush holder which is actually one of the most unhygienic places in the house! If your child drops it on the floor it will spin it's upright again.
Amelia's pretty good at brushing her teeth now, compared to about 10 months ago where she would point blank refuse and we'd have to hold her down to do so. In fact she now loves it so much she will brush her teeth any time of the day.
I am very happy with this toothbrush as is Amelia, I would definitely recommend it for children and toddlers especially if you are having trouble getting them interested in brushing their own teeth as the funky design will help to encourage them. They would be perfect for stocking fillers too and at just £6.99 are great value for money.
