Outdoor Toys For Toddlers

Now that Amelia is older, I have been looking at buying her some more garden toys for the summer to keep her entertained outside. Last summer she had not long turned one and wasn't really interested in playing with anything outside other than the grass and pebbles. Here are some outdoor toys which I've already got for Amelia or items which I am looking at buying. Hopefully they give you some ideas on what to buy for your toddler.

1. Youmi & Teepee English Rose Teepee, £86.99

I bought Amelia a similar teepee for her first birthday which had a lot of use last year so hopefully when the weather is nicer we can get that outside again. There's plenty of imaginary play and picnics to be had with a teepee.

2. Argos Wooden Garden Playhouse, £199.99

Let your child's imagination run free with a play house in the garden. Creating hours of endless fun in the fresh air and some piece and quiet for mum or dad. Why not turn the playhouse into a kids playroom/art room.

3. Smart Trike Dream 4 in 1 Trike, £99.99

Amelia has two trikes and loves them both, I would definitely recommend a trike especially if your baby or toddler loves the outdoors. The great thing about the trike is the fact that they grow with your child, from the first stage around 10 months old right up until 36 months where they are able to peddle themselves.

4. Chad Valley Ball Pit, £9.99

Not only great for indoors when the weather is cooler, this ball pit is great for keeping little ones entertained outside and encouraging role-play. It's great for hiding out and also imaginative play with hours of endless fun. Similar to the ball pit this pop up tent is a great alternative if you'd rather not be picking up 100's of balls every day.

5. Chad Vally Junior Slide, £24.99

This was a 2nd birthday present which she has been loving so far! All toddlers love going down the slide at the park don't they? Also available in green here if you're not a fan of pink.

6. ELC Junior Trampoline, £45.00

This was also a fantastic purchase, we are yet to use it outside as the weather hasn't been too great but Amelia loves bouncing on it inside.

7. Little Tikes Rocking Horse, £22.99

Another great purchase for the garden, your toddler will love rocking back and forth on this.

8. Bentley Kid Paddling Pool, £12.99

For those hot summer days a padding pool is a must isn't it? Great to cool down the kids as well as allowing them to have fun splashing about with family and friends.

9. Plum Wooden Sand Pit, £50.99

Bring the beach to your garden with this wooden sandpit, perfect for getting your little ones to be creative and enjoy being outdoors.

10. ELC Sand And Water Table, £45.00

I would really like to buy Amelia this for the summer as she loves playing with water and it would keep her quiet for a good half hour hopefully. This sand and water table is great for your toddler's development and comes with 10 fun toys to play with and a waterproof lid.

If you are looking for more outdoor toy ideas ELC currently have their "up to 70% off sale" running at the moment as well as free delivery if you spend over £50! Did you know that you can also purchase through cashback sites such as Wowchering and get money back whilst you shop! You can also get a 10% bonus on your cash back if you spend it at Wowcher.co.uk. You'll be surprised at how much it all adds up and you could even save for Christmas.
