We have a pretty small bathroom, and I'm currently in the process of giving it a bit of a makeover. Since moving in over 9 months over we haven't really done anything to it at all apart from buy the odd accessory here and there. I really want to give it that spa feel and look to it, at the moment it's a bit mix and match as the bath tiles are a dark grey colour and the rest of the room is cream/white and the storage basket are all brown. As we can't change the tiles, I would love to refresh the room and make it more inviting for guests as it feels and looks unloved at the moment.
So to begin with I think it's time our bathroom had a touch of paint and a mini makeover by making it less cluttered and transforming it into a welcoming tidy bathroom. There's little space to work with as everything is pretty close together and there's not really much room for storage. I'm thinking of buying a under the sink cabinet or one that you can build to fit the sink like these ones from Bathroom Deal as it will keep everything tidier underneath and make use of that space.
Shelves are also a great way to store toiletries, storage baskets and guest towels and I think adding a few shelves on the wall next to the toilet will make that space look less bare. We don't have room for a big cabinet so this will be a nice added touch and will cost far less.
I will share the finished look once completed as well as photos of how it looked previously so you can see what changes we've made. I'm not looking to spend too much as it's the smallest room in the house and we don't really need to make any major changes it's just adding new things here and there.
