As some of you may already know from being an avid reader of the blog, Amelia is a fussy eater. I've been trying everything over the past few months to get her to eat better, which we are still working on but I thought I would share with you this book I recently bought to see if it would help in any way. It's the Annabel Karmel Top 100 Finger Foods, which is by the bestselling author of Annabel's new complete baby and toddler meal planner. I've never really taken much interest into baby cookbooks but anything to get Amelia to eat better is fine with me.
The book is full of fun and exciting finger foods for babies and toddlers from breakfast to snack and lunch ideas. Usually for breakfast Amelia will have some fruit, plain butter on toast of wheetos, she used to eat yoghurts and rice crispies but went off them so this book has given me some great ideas to make her for breakfast.
Amelia won't eat fish fingers but she has recently taken a liking to fishcakes which I have been buying religiously for the past couple of months as its a quick and easy meal which she loves and healthier than chicken nuggets. I came across this Krispie Fish Fingers recipe which I really wanted to try as I though she would like them and it would be something different to have on the menu. They were pretty easy to make and she really enjoyed them! I'll definitely be making them again every so often.
We recently tried this panini as Amelia is always eyeing up my Panini's but brie, bacon and cranberry isn't exactly too healthy so this sounded like a great alternative.
You can pick up this book from Amazon* just like I did for £6 instead of the usual £9.
