30 Easy Breakfast Ideas

You know what they say "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" well it's true! I've never been much of a breakfast person, if I was feeling slightly peckish I would have some marmite on toast but most days I would go without until lunchtime. More recently I have been getting into eating breakfast each day and finding new foods to try. You can see some of the breakfasts' I've been enjoying recently here.

Here are 30 of my favourite breakfasts I thought I'd share with you today. I have something for every mood from muffins, yogurt, toast, pancakes and savoury. 

What about something for the little one's in your life, this simple Egg in Toast recipie is not only creative but will have your child wanting more! Switch it up each time with a different cutter to create fun shapes and animals.

Smoothies are a perfect choice for breakfast especially if you tend to skip breakfast like me. They can be a great way to get many of your five a day without realising and can also be handy for on the go. Here's one I've been wanting to try out for some time; Pear Ginger Cinnamon Oat Smoothie sounds like a funny mix but it also sounds soooo good!

Start your day with these scrumpsious Breakfast Burritos! Fill with your favourite savoury breakfast items such as scrambled egg, sausage cheese and bacon and these will fill you up for the day ahead. 

Who doesn't like a bacon and egg bap for breakfast? Here's a favourite Breakfast Sandwich of mine which really is delicious! 

Eggs Benedict are one of my all time favourite breakfasts to have, especially as a brunch. I love mine on bagels. 

This Banana Blueberry Parfait recipe is great for a lighter breakfast and you only need 4 ingredients!

Lucy shares her Grilled Watermelon With Honey Glazed Mandarin recipe. Who would have though you could grill a watermelon? This would make a lovely brunch or summer breakfast.

A healthy favourite breakfast of mine is overnight oats, they are really simple to make and don't take too much time at all.

If you don't have much time to prepare breakfast in the mornings how about throwing together a quick and easy Fruit Soup? You only really need two ingredients for this tasty snack: Cold fresh fruit and milk. You can chop up as much fruit as you like and combine with a cup of milk. So easy, and yummy!

Panacotta isn't just served as an appetiser or desert, why not try it for breakfast. This Vanilla Panacotta makes a yummy and light breakfast especially good for pleasing guests.

  1. Love the mini omelettes,going to try them! It's not recommended to freeze egg dishes though ,egg does not freeze well, egg dishes become watery & bland after freezing.
