I haven't taken Amelia out for the day on my own whilst Andy's at work for quite some time partially due to having no car as since we have moved it's not as easy to get to places on foot. Yesterday morning I made the decision to take Amelia out for the day as the sun was shining and I'm working tomorrow so I wanted to make the most of the sun while it lasts! After we dropped Andy off at work we took a half hour drive over to Llanberis which is a lovely little village not far from us. We have taken Amelia a few times last year when we lived closer especially over the summer as there's quite a bit to do there.
We drove down by the lake and took a walk down to the front, Amelia loved seeing the ducks and was throwing pebbles into the water for a while until she tried walking in there so I had to pull her away. We also took the Cosatto Ooba with us which Amelia went in for a bit first before she wanted to get out so I took it back to the car and let her walk instead. After a couple of hours we then went to a near by nature reserve so Amelia could run around for a bit, there's a lovely little trail which she loves running around exploring. After a tantrum when trying to get her back in her car seat we finally headed home and enjoyed playing in the garden for the rest of the afternoon.
It was lovely to get out of the house with Amelia, especially after so long of being stuck in the house without a car and seeing as Andy works a lot of hours we don't time to go places. I will definitely have to make more of an effort over the summer!
