Yesterday we were looking forward to a family day out as we were both off work and now have a car we wanted to get out for the day. We had hoped that the weather would have been as nice as it has been all week but I guess it had other ideas, it didn't rain but it was very cloudy and cold. Not quite the sunny day we had planned. We still decided to make the most of it and headed to Gypsy Wood Park which is a lovely little outdoor activity park for children.
We left the pushchair in the car and let Amelia walk as we thought it would be better for her to see everything, she loved running around and also wanted to hold our hands most of the time. We saw goats, donkeys, ponies, chickens and all sorts of animals. I think Amelia was most impressed by the goats as she keep saying "baaaaaa" at them ha ha! She even wanted to stroke them too as well as the donkeys. We even went on a little train around the park which she loved and kept saying "choo choo".
The park is full of fairies and animals so there was plenty to see. Amelia even milked a cow and also threw money into the wishing well. We stayed for a good few hours but as it was pretty cold we left just before 2pm. We will definitely take her again sometime when the weather is nicer as it's a lovely little park with plenty of activities for toddlers and children.
