Easter Egg Snacks For Kids

This week I decided to do something fun and got out Amelia's plastic eggs for her egg hunt and filled them with bite sized lunch items. As you will probably already know, Amelia is a fussy eater so these little egg filled snacks are perfect for fussy eaters. Granted she didn't eat them all but she still liked playing with them. I think I enjoyed them just as much as she did!

On Monday morning I saw the empty egg tray in the kitchen and thought it was the perfect time to make the snack tray up. I added lots of little finger foods that I had left over in the fridge which consisted of pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, goldfish, grapes, blueberries, cucumber, mango, ham slices, and cheese. You could put what ever you like in the little plastic eggs, include some of your child's favourites and some new ones for them to try.

This is a fun and easy way to serve lunch or just snacks especially if you are looking for alternatives to chocolate and sweets for Easter. You could even use these for an Easter egg hunt or for your child's packed lunch box the options are endless. Just make sure you keep them in the fridge when not in use if you're using fresh food.

I can't wait to make some more again for Easter and maybe have a picnic in the garden if the weather is nice!

What snack/lunch ideas do you have for Easter?

I sent in something similar with Small Child's packed lunch on the last day of term before Easter last year - he loved it. Must make one this year before Easter has come and gone!
