We arrived around 11am and of course Amelia had fallen asleep on the journey there so we decided to wait 20 minutes or so, so she wouldn't be too fussy when she woke up. We decided not to take the pushchair as Amelia usually wants to get out and walk or won't go back in it if we get her out so I didn't want to be pushing it around the whole day. She walked for the whole 4 and half hours minus lunch and a few piggy backs as she was walking too slow towards the end when she was tired. We also had to put the reins on her for the last hour as she kept running off ha ha!
She loved seeing "George" (she calls all monkeys George as she is obsessed with Curious George) and kept imitating them which was quite funny to watch. She was more interested in running around touching all of the notices than looking at the animals (you'll noticed there's no photo's of animals ha ha!) to be honest after the novelty wore off although she did like the giraffes and elephants. We went on the waterbus and she enjoyed that and saw many ducks and ducklings.
We were able to enjoy lunch outside as it was so nice and we also bought some ice-creams later on in the afternoon and took a lovely walk down by the river. All in all it was a lovely day and weather was a bonus! Here are some
