Back On The Road!

We were finally back on the road this past week thanks to my wonderful brother for lending us his car whilst he's away working in Afghan. We will still be looking for a car but this gives us a bit more time to save up to get a newer car. Amelia started off eating really well at the beginning of the week by eating rice again which she hasn't eaten in months, however these past few days she has been extra fussy and refusing to eat anything. I wish she wasn't so fussy and would eat anything I put in front of her it would save a lot of time and money!

The nights are now getting lighter but luckily it hasn't affected Amelia's bedtime. She usually goes down around 7.30-8pm when it's still light so I think we will need to get the gro blind out soon as she does sometimes stir when I put her down to bed.

Some of Amelia's birthday supplies arrived this week, I'm not doing a party as such but will be having family round and I also have a few ideas that I'll be sharing. I'm still waiting on a few more bits before I take her birthday photos.

As soon as we were back on the road we headed out for the day, we had a lovely afternoon down by the seaside and all enjoyed an ice cream! I can't wait for more days out soon!

I think we've watched Frozen around 100 times already since buying it last week! Amelia LOVES it and will actually sit still through bits of it.

A few nights ago Amelia slept from 10pm until 7.30am!!! Wooohoooo I had a full night sleep well 5 hours but still better than her coming into bed in the night. I woke up at 7 and was wondering where she was ha ha!! She then came into our bed at 7.30 and slept until 9am as I was getting ready for work around 8am.

How cute is this wooden laptop!? I saw it and just had to buy it, even though Amelia has enough birthday presents already. I know she will love it as she's always typing away on mine.

I've started buying some new clothes for the summer for Amelia. We have a few trips away coming up and she's starting to grow out of her 12-18 month clothing. I'm loving these items from Next, and have more arriving soon from F&F, Mini Boden and Zara.

Hope you all have a lovely week!

  5. I have a fussy eater too and it's not easy is it? He is getting better now and will eat a few different things now but he's definitely never going to be the adventurous type ;-)
