An Early Birthday Visit From The Fairies

Amelia's birthday is quickly aproaching! She will be two in just over a week I can't believe it! I think I have all of her presents and birthday goodies sorted, I'm just waiting for a few more deliveries to arrive. I came across this company on Twitter a few weeks ago who make fairy doors and I instantly knew I was going to buy one for Amelia! I thought it would be a perfect early birthday gift and I could show Amelia the door before her birthday and tell her that the fairies will come and in the night of her birthday and bring her presents and that she would have to go to sleep for them to come, in hope it would get her to go to sleep on time for once.

On the eve of her birthday we will sprinkle some fairy dust to let the fairies know they can come during the night. The fairies will come on her birthday and leave her a note and and little birthday card with a key to the door. I think its so sweet and a lovely idea especially as she grows the fairies can leave little notes through out the year for any achievements and other occasions. I think the door is so cute and just couldn't resist buying one as you know me - I am a spender! I love that I can move it around her room too and put it in random places, next to her bed so she sees it as soon as she wakes up, near the floor, half way up the wall (remember fairies can fly) where ever we wish to put it. I look forward to seeing Amelia's face when she see's it and I'm sure she will love the idea of it especially as the Tinker fairies will be coming.
