Hello March!

Wow, March already? How did that happen? I'm either loosing track of the months or time is going by really fast, it will be Christmas again before we know it! Is it just me or do you find that as you get older the years go by so much faster? I'm rather glad to be saying goodbye to February to be honest! It wasn't too nice to us, lets just say this weekend was eventful. March has started off good though with a few sunny days so far which allowed us to get out to the park the other day. I'm hoping this is the start of a good month we shall see!

As always here's our week from my Instagram images which you can follow us at (@ohsoamelia).

On the way to the park for a kick about with her ball. We decided not to take the pushchair and put her reins on instead as it's along a main road even though the park is only around the corner, she would run off otherwise. It was really nice to get some fresh air instead of being cooped up indoors.

We've been testing out the Messy Me Mat this past week and its definitely a great investment! We have been fond of their products ever since Amelia was a baby, I'm particularly in love with their vintage floral design. This mat is great for crafts, drawing so she doesn't get any on the floor or table, picnics and also for putting underneath the highchair to easily clean up afterwards.

I just love this photo, we were getting ready to head out for lunch and I was about to put her coat on and she put her ear muffs on herself, I just couldn't resist taking a photo!

Excuse the mess on her hair, mummy should have brushed it after taking her hat off haha! On Thursday we went out for lunch to Noodle One which is basically like Wagamamas. I always have the duck Yakisoba noodles which are yummy! Amelia was waiting patiently here for the highchair and choosing what she wanted off the menu ;)

Cheeky madam sneakily snatched my chips and helped herself, she usually won't eat them if we buy her a small portion so we didn't bother this time. Don't worry she only had a few! She was sat on the edge of the coffee table swinging her legs watching TV, so cute!

Taking a late afternoon nap after daddy had worn her out from playing all afternoon whilst mummy was unwell. She must have needed it poor thing. Just look at those curls!!

This little madam is obsessed with Tinkerbell, every time I select it on the sky planner and start the opening credits she instantly has a massive grin on her face and is so happy. I just love this photo, it instantly makes me smile.

On Sunday night she fell asleep on me at 6.30pm which is earlier than her usual bed time of 7.30-8pm. I knew this would mess up her bedtime but she needed the sleep as she woke up early on Saturday morning. Luckily I managed to get her up to bed but she woke up at 9.30pm so I ended up taking her through to our bed and she eventually went back to sleep.

Hope you all had a nice weekend.

  3. My little one is Tinkerbell mad too - had to comment when I read that! She is nearly 3 and we took her to see the movie with an older friend during half term. I thought she wouldn't concentrate for that long but she LOVED it. Highly recommended!

  7. I love her outdoor outfit - so cute! I'm jealous of your lack of snow in March - we're still under 2 feet of it here in Saskatchewan, Canada. I want to move where you are. :)

  8. Oh! I also wanted to say - honestly - Thank you for using those backpack straps while walking with her. I think they're brilliant, but everyone I know thinks they're somehow demeaning because they remind people of a dog's leash. I say they allow a dog to get exercise while remaining safe - why wouldn't we want the same for our children?? Anyway, thanks for posting a photo of that - I hope people get over their issues and they become more popular here.
