A Week Of Sun

This week started off to a great start with a lovely couple of days of sunshine! On Wednesday we went on a lovely walk and let Amelia run off some steam. It was so nice to see the sun again, it feels like so long since summer and I am looking even more forward to summer this year! This week Amelia scored a black eye by jumping around the living room being silly and ending up jumping into our TV stand which was not a good idea. Instantly I thought she had knocked her teeth out or something but it was the corner of her eye. Luckily there's no serious damage as it's so close to her eye just a lot of swelling and now colourful bruises. I was scared to leave the house after she did it as you know what people are like these days ha ha!

On Thursday we went to look at a car we had seen and really liked however we drove over an hour to get there only to find out it had been sold half an hour before we arrived!! So annoying, but we will keep looking and hopefully have something within the next few weeks as I don't think I can go any longer without a car, I miss our days out and going off to explore new places.

For the rest of week we have been relaxing and staying indoors. I'm hoping to get the back yard sorted over the next few weeks as we've not done anything to it since we moved in. It's not really a garden as such as it doesn't have any grass but I suppose that's good as it means I don't have to mow the lawn or keep on top of anything unlike our last house. I'm looking forward to warm mornings outside where Amelia can play and also afternoons at the park.
