One Born Every Minute: Expecting A Baby Book

I'm sure you've all heard of or watched One Born Every Minute? All expecting parents have questions running through their head from the moment they find out they are pregnant, what is child birth like, how do I look after the baby when they are born, there are so many unanswered questions. This book gives parents to be an insight into what becoming a parent is all about.

Everyone's experience of pregnancy and parenthood differs however this book gives you a good idea on what to expect. Dr Penelope Law imparts her down to earth guide to pregnancy, birth and your baby's first six weeks. This can help new mums feel more relaxed and in control during delivery and when taking their baby home for the first time.

I've never owned a pregnancy book before but I will definitely be looking forward to reading this in the future when the time comes as I enjoyed having a browse through it. It is a easy read and offers sensible advice to get you through the nine months of pregnancy and the first few weeks after giving birth.

I can assure you that you won't cry half as much as you do watching the program! But don't worry you don't have to have watched the TV series to enjoy this book. This book would make a lovely gift to a mum-to-be or even for yourself if you are a first, second or third time mum. A worthwhile read for both mums and dads.

You can buy the book here.

Why not take a look at the video below where Dr Penelope shares her essential advice on how to cope with morning sickness to birth plans to make sure you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

  12. i watched this over and over again while i was pregnant.... cant watch it since, i thought i knew everything....until the placenta....dont show any of the 'after' bits on the show. for me delivering the placenta was more shocking than the birth , as i knew absolutly nothing about it beforehand
