Birthday Gifts For A 2 Year Old

With Amelia's second birthday drawing closer and closer I have been thinking of what to buy her. It's been rather difficult to decide as she already has a lot of toys! I already have an innotab stored away which I bought before Christmas and also some books but I really want to buy her a table and chair set so she can learn to sit down and sit still ha ha! Only joking, it will be great for her to sit down and do some crafts and colouring as well as eat lunch at it.

I've been thinking about buying a dolls house for her bedroom but not sure whether to buy it for Christmas instead as she will be older then and less likely to break everything.

I am in love with these adorable Maleg soft toys and have had my eye on them for months and never gotten round to buying them so thought now would be a good time.

The Honeybake blender is from John Lewis but they don't seem to stock it online anymore which is such a shame as I love it! It would be perfect for her play kitchen. I'm keeping an eye out on eBaby for one, as I can only see blue one.

I'm also wanting to buy her a slide for the garden as it will be getting warmer in April it will be good for the summer for playing outdoors.

What did you get your two year old for their birthday?

  1. For my Daughters 2nd Birthday in November, I bought her the Silver Cross 'so pretty' stroller, high chair and baby bouncer from Mothercare. She loves them and they are well played with. She has a small table and chairs too and has just started to enjoy sitting with crayons and paper which is lovely to see (and gives me time for a cuppa)!
The Maleg soft toys are adorable :) Good luck finding the blender x

  2. My little girl will be 2 in April and we are going to be getting her an innotab and more small world playsets as she plays so nicely with them.
A relative bought her a beautiful wooden dolls house for Christmas and I was very worried that she was far too young for it and would ruin it, but she has proved me wrong! She sits and plays really beautifully with it and it engages her for long periods of time.
A table and chair is also a great idea. My little girl will now sit much better to eat and engages better in creative and messy activities at her table!

    1. Oh i haven't heard of the small world playset. We've got Amelia an innotab too so I hope she plays with that. That sounds promising with the dolls house, i may wait till Christmas instead now, I'm not too sure. x

  10. At times young parents get confused as what to gift their 1 or 2 year old baby on his/her birthday because of no good personal experience. In this situation i think the birthay gift ideas you have mentioned are really appropriate for a 2 year old baby.
