This week we were hit by a pretty bad storm here in North Wales. We had a red warning alert and boy did it blow a gale! Luckily for us I was given Wednesday night off work due to bridges closing making getting to work impossible and to be honest I was rather glad as I didn't want to step outside of the house once the wind had picked up. We did manage to get out of the house before the storm got bad as we needed to pop into town for a few things and had a bite to eat. The rest of the week we've spent indoors colouring, baking and watching Tinkerbell on repeat.
Up to mischief! Don't mind the messy hair, it seems to be out of control recently as it's grown even more. I just can't do anything with it and she won't let me tie it back or put any hair clips in it either.
We've been reading lots of cute books this week in the run up to Valentine's day. You can view Amelia's Valentine's book collection here. Her favourites are You are my cupcake, I love my mummy and Where is baby's valentine?
I hardly ever take photo's of Amelia and I anymore my Instagram feed seems to be full of photo's of Amelia or food nowadays ha ha! Amelia actually took this photo :)
Friday was Valentine's day, Andy was working but I cooked a nice meal and he had it when he came home from work. He bought me lots of chocolate, About Time dvd which I am looking forward to watching and a cute cuddly toy. We are past the days of going all out on each other like we used to now we just treat each other to something small. After all Valentines' day is over rated isn't it?!
