Where To Go Next?

Having only recently arrived back from the Caribbean it's safe to say that Andy and I have been planning our next family holiday. The weather here in the UK is so depressing most of the year who wouldn't want to get away if they could. Whilst on holiday we discussed future holidays and agreed that we must go away at least once a year. We both like the relaxing type of holidays and somewhere tropical but of course now we have Amelia to think of too it needs to be somewhere suitable for a toddler.

We have been looking at a few destinations to visit which are family friendly and here are our top picks!

1. Disneyworld Florida - I haven't been since I was 14 and would love to take Amelia, I know she would still be rather young to experience the whole package but we could always go again when shes older huh? There's so much to do for all ages so there would definitely be enough to keep us busy for the two weeks. I have been looking into it and I really think we could afford to go if we booked it soon.
Have you ever thought about going on a Disney family holiday?

2. Barbados - A sister island to the Dominican Republic where we went on holiday back in November we would love to visit another Caribbean Island. We would book an all inclusive package again and ensure it was child friendly as Amelia would be older next year she would be able to get involved with more activities.

3. Bahamas - This is another destination we would love to go for a relaxing holiday (if you can call it relaxing with a toddler). We love paradise islands and this is high on our list of places to go. The clear sea and white sand beaches who wouldn't want that?! I would also love to go on a jet ski and because Amelia would be older when we go it would be much easier for us to go out on excursions and do day trips too.

4. Cyprus - We had thought of going here before we opted for the Caribbean as it always appealed to us. The hot weather, lovely beaches and all inclusive resorts. Maybe we will go one year for a closer to home holiday and shorter flight! It looks like a lovely island and the hottest time of year seems to be in the summer so we would have to see if we can get time off work.

Where are you looking to go on holiday this year?

  2. Oooo sounds like any of those destinations would be wonderful! Were going to Sorrento, Italy for our holiday this yeah, we have never been to Italy before but wanted something different. Ruby will be nearly 7 when we go and we thought she is at a great age to appreciate and learn about the culture when we are there, she is very excited!

Look forward to find out out your chosen destination!
