Recent Buys & Getting Ready For Christmas

I'm forever buying little nic nacs for the house and I've been buying a few more bits this week so thought I would share them with you all. I popped into Dunelm Mill and picked up a few things for the bedroom. Firstly I have this perfume bottle which I thought would look pretty on my dresser (when it arrives), I love little finishing touches and this is perfect for just that.

This tealight holder was in the Christmas section and I just had to add it to my basket, I thought it would be nice for either downstairs or the bedroom.

I love this white tree lantern and thought it would be really cute lit up in the bedroom. I love little decorative items like this if you haven't already noticed and Dunelm Mill always have a fantastic range of reasonably priced items.

How cute is this Nordic Mini tree decoration? I thought it was a nice addition to our Christmas decor as last year we didn't really decorate, this year I've been buying lots of bits.

I couldn't resist picking up this Christmas cushion and at just £2.49 it was definitely a bargain! I have been a bit naughty this year and bought pretty much every Christmas furnishing and item of clothing you can think of... bedding, throws, place mats, jumper, leggings, socks, slippers and now this cushion. I had been looking for a cushion for a while but never found one which I liked.

I also picked up a pair of these gorgeous wicker heart lamp shades from Dunelm mill which were only £12.99 each. As I am currently in the progress of changing the bedroom around once again I thought I would start buying some items now before the bedside cabinets arrive in a few weeks.

Whilst in Next yesterday afternoon picking up some wrapping paper (and a few other treats) I couldn't resist buying this rag doll for Amelia. I'm not sure whether to put it in her Christmas stocking or wrap it up yet but either way I know she will love it and it will be added to her collection! I think I am nearly done with all of Amelia's presents and stocking bits so expect a post on all of that soon.

  11. I wish I had the storage space but I don't, so I can't buy many decorative bits and pieces that are just Christmas-related. I need stuff that works year round! :)
