Hi everyone! After my recent buys post last week I have decided it's about time to do another one as I have bought even more since then and a lot of you seems to enjoy it. Christmas is less than a handful of days away, I am so excited this year, I think it's because Amelia is older and will be much more interactive. Plus I'm a big kid and can't wait to open all of her presents and play all day! Oh and food! I can't wait for Christmas dinner! We are having a quiet Christmas this year just the three of us then we will be going to see family on Boxing day and the 27th for another round of Christmas dinners!
I think I am just about done with wrapping everyone's gifts. This year I have done well and finished my Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve! I actually bought the majority of it online and Amelia's presents before we went away on holiday so I was only left with a few bits to get this week. I love this wrapping paper I picked up from Paperchase isn't it very festive! I also bought some labels from eBay which you can find here and here.
I have found a new online shop called Gifts & Pieces which I have fallen in love with! I actually bought a few pieces for the bedroom from there last week and love everything! First of all I chose this gorgeous bunny ring holder which is so cute!
I also bought this owl money box which I thought would look great in the bedroom. All of their items are right up my street and I can't believe I haven't come across them sooner! I have also ordered a trinket box but still waiting for that too arrive.
I have been looking for a new book to add to my collection and as I don't really read much I thought it would be good to buy some more. I was recommended buying the Lauren Conrad Style book by a few people so thought I would see what all the fuss was about. I'm yet to actually read it yet but it does look good!
I bought a new Yankee Candle, I just couldn't resist! I love having candles lit around the house it makes it feel more homely and cosy especially at this time of year. This one is Christmas Rose which smells gorgeous and I really want to buy some more Christmas scents.
I have decided to buy new furniture for the bedroom. When we moved in I regretfully bought light oak furniture including a huge wardrobe with sliding door and two bedside cabinets as I had decided to go with a neutral theme and was in a rush to buy them for when we moved in. Fast forward a couple of months and I wish I had bought white furniture like I had originally wanted to. I will be keeping the wardrobe as that was really expensive and its huge so can't really move it, but I have bought new bedside cabinets which I am currently waiting on arriving shortly after Christmas as well as a chest of 3 drawers which I picked up this week. I really do love the french style shabby chic collection and this was much cheaper than the majority of stuff you buy on the internet. I got ours from Dunelm Mill which you can find here.
I bought a few more of these floral baskets from eBay as I love using them of storage in our bedroom as well as Amelia's. They are great for hiding away things which you don't want to be on show and keep the room much tidier.
You may have seen my Christmas throws already if you follow me on Instagram but if not I have bought two recently. I love the one pictured about more as it's got a fleece layer underneath which is super warm. It's so nice to snuggle up with in front of the TV especially on cold wintery nights. Plus it's a Christmas throw!
I bought a couple more of these tealight holders from Ikea on eBay recently as we don't have one near us. I really love these not only as a tealight holder but they are great for decorative items and holding brushes and pens.
Lastly, I bought this stocking for our fireplace. Myself or Andy don't have our own stockings anymore so I decided to buy this just to make the fireplace look more Christmas-y. I had originally thought of buying it for Amelia but then I saw her stocking whilst in Next the other week so bought her that instead.
I hope you're all having a lovely week so far and are getting in the Christmas spirit!
