Christmas Gift Guide 2013: For The Home

With only a few more shopping days left you may be struggling on what to get for loved ones this Christmas.  Do you have someone who's hard to buy for in your family? Fear not, today's gift guide is for the home and i've tried to include something for everyone.

1. Joy Cushion £5.95

Part of the new Joy collection, this cushion cover has been expertly manufactured in a 100% polyester material making it extra soft and remarkably hardwearing. The design of the cushion has an embellished sequin motif stitched on to the cushion for a luxurious decorative finish. The Joy range is a perfect choice to add an extra festive touch, or even just to brighten up a room in your home, and is part of our christmas range for 2013. Available in red, gold or silver sequins.

A new Christmas tradition that is sure to charm: perfectly pretty holiday cookies, deliciously decorated with sugary pink icing. The traditional design of our signature classic jar candle reflects a warm, relaxed sense of style that's always at home. Convenient and easy to use, our medium jar candle provides 65 to 90 hours of true fragrance enjoyment. There's also a few other fragrances in the Christmas range which are worth checking out!

3. Wall Clock £35

This gorgeous Duck Egg Blue Wall Clock by Thomas Kents brings the blue skies of summer into any room. The blue clock is hand painted in long lasting resin, and has a modern vintage look that suits any decor; it has easy to read, decorative cream hour markings. It also comes in a beautiful gift box.

Sophie Conran and Portmeirion have together created a beautiful collection of cookware, tableware and home accessories – all designed for modern day living. This collection of stylish, practical porcelain marries together a love of food, design and family. Versatile, practical, with a nod to Japanese serenity, and English eccentricity, this bakeware collection is perfect for cooking up your favourite meals for everything from elegant dinner parties to relaxed breakfasts. This set includes three ceramic hearts, one heart-shaped presentation dish and a bottle of scented oil to spray on the ceramic hearts.

5. Wooden Calendar Block £10.95

A great gift for the living room, kitchen or office.  This calendar lets you change the date using thewooden blocks so can be used year after year. A lovely useful accessory to decorate any home!

6.  Photo Canvas from £34.99 (Classic)

Gifting a canvas to a loved one is a great idea! Find a image that you wish to use, perhaps one of the whole family or couple and get it printed out onto canvas. There are so many sizes and styles to choose from too making it the perfect gift for any home. If you're unsure of what photograph to have printed who not gift a gift voucher for them to use instead and they can choose their own canvas. You can personalise the perfect gift for friends and family this Christmas at PhotoBox and they also have a huge range of photo books, wall decor and home gifts that would also make great gifts.

Everybody loves mugs don't they? Mugs make great gifts especially if you are unsure on what to get somebody. These fine china mugs are decorated with two of Cath Kidston's typically pretty prints that are sure to brighten up your afternoon tea. I have just bought myself some recently and LOVE them!

Gift this stylish home sweet home doorstop which will look great in any home whether it be in the living room, dining room or kitchen the options are endless. It's made from 100% recyclable filter and the grey colour will fit in with just about every room decor.

Creating a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere in your home, this diffuser has a green, herbal fragrance founded on woody, balsamic base notes with leafy fig and lavender at its heart and top notes of fresh citrus. Taking inspiration from Orla Kiely's signature abacus flower fashion print, close attention has been paid to every detail to ensure that these home fragrances are unique, but perfectly complement Orla Kiely's hugely popular existing work.

As you probably already guessed I do want everything on this list and hopefully it will give you some ideas on what to get friends and family this Christmas.
